I’m David Hamilton, and I’ve spent the last 30 years looking at residential properties through a completely different lens.
Three Decades of Structural Insight
I spent 30 years as a business owner in the contracting trades. That background—combined with holding a Tennessee real estate license since 2005—means I look at a house with a level of property insight most people completely miss. Alongside managing those business operations, I developed a lifelong passion for buying and renovating older homes. Hands-on restoration work combined with trade management gave me a deep, structural understanding of how residential properties are built, how they age, and how they can be optimized.
Whether it’s understanding the complex mechanics of a proper tiling layout, recognizing structural footprint opportunities during a laundry or bathroom renovation, or looking at an older foundation with a critical eye, I’ve spent decades mastering the physical reality of a house.
Family and Focus
A few years ago, life presented a meaningful transition. I chose to step away from my business operations to focus on a vital family priority—raising my grandson as a single grandparent right here in our community. Taking that time to focus entirely on his upbringing and schooling was the absolute best decision I’ve ever made.
Now that he is older and approaching high school, my schedule is completely my own again. I am fully unencumbered and glad to be turning my attention back to my passions for real estate, home design, home restoration, and trade intelligence.
